The wives of Henry VIII are remembered with a cunning mnemonic: divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. The husbands (and significant others) of Anna, the heroine of Do You Believe in Always, also make up an alphabet soup:
AA, EA*, NA, normal, EA, NA, SAA, normal.
I think I see a pattern here.
