I never know what to think when I find the obituary of someone I knew intimately. Someone who shared their dreams, introduced me to their family, and talked about future possibilities. Even if it wasn’t long before we both realized we weren’t right for one another and parted with a clean break – well, it may have been easier for me than for him … but I’m not sure. He was just two years older than me. Mortality … it’s a real killer.
