My wonderful first cousin, the only boy on my mother’s side of the family, passed away yesterday from complications of working for too many years in the drywall industry. He was a good person, an avid (but conscientious, eating what was killed) hunter and fisherman, father of three, grandfather and great-grandfather of a LOT, and brother.

Unfortunately, I hadn’t seen him since a wedding in 2015 due to family circumstances – but I adored him nonetheless. He will be greatly missed by all. His ashes will be taken back to Minnesota from his home in Punta Gorda, Florida and scattered at Thunder Lake and the shooting blinds where he and his dad and sons spent a lot of time.
