Several years ago, with a lack of prospects at hand, I placed a dating profile on Match.com. Who, not unexpectedly, sold my member information to dozens of other sites (including Christian and Farmer Singles) which will pepper my inbox with “Join Now for Free” spam for the rest of my natural life. The internet is unrestricted access to all things, all the time, and has abolished the scarcity of everything.
